Shell takes Final Investment Decision on Phase 12a in Egypt's West Delta Deep Marine concession
Cairo - BG Delta Limited, a subsidiary of Shell plc (Shell), and its partners; the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Petronas, announced a Final Investment Decision (FID) on the Phase 12a development project in the West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) concession, located in Egypt's Nile Delta offshore the Mediterranean Sea. Phase 12a will deliver three deep-water subsea wells, first production is expected in 2028.
